Besiktas Football Academy Accra is a football club and academy, founded in 2009 as “Lenient International Football Club” by Mohammed Aminu Lenient Dauda in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
In 2017 the club was renamed Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra.
Besiktas JK Football Academy of Accra plays in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association with the Division Two and Juvenile(U-13, U-15 and U-17). This is an amateur divisions, a stepping stone for players coming out of local academies and training centers. In 2014, the Division Two team were the Zone Three League Champions of Greater Accra Regional Division Two League but couldn’t qualified to Division One after Middle League. The U15 were champions of the evaluation tournament, which was organized by the Ministry of Sports. In 2015 the U17 team won the tournament for youths under the age of 17, this being organized by Al-Nahyan Islamic Society of Ghana (NGO).
Besiktas Football Academy Accra has transferred many players locally to premier clubs like the Great Accra Hearts of Oak, Bechem United and Accra Great Olympic.
